Timers & Other Water-saving Features

 
Our systems are run with an automatic timer, the Hunter Pro-C for residential and light commercial projects, and the Hunter ICC timer for larger commercial projects, athletic fields, and golf courses. The Hunter timers are very user friendly which helps ensure that you will continue to water properly and efficiently. These automatic timers allow you to water on the days that your landscape needs it and at the proper time of the day, not just when you have time to fit it into your busy schedule.

 With your busy schedule, the Rain Clik rain sensor makes sure that water is not wasted by overriding the automatic timer on days when it has rained. No more having to worry about shutting off the system or turning it back on during rainy periods or when you are gone on vacation.  

 Another great water saving feature is Hunter's Solar Sync. The Solar Sync is a module that gets installed with the automatic timer. It utilizes a sensor that monitors rain fall and temperature to calculate the rate of evaporation. The Solar Sync uses this information along with the information that is programmed into it, like geographic location and soil type, to make automatic adjustments to the preset watering times in the timer.
