Drip Irrigation

Environment-Smart Drip Irrigation

For plantings beds and small gardens we install drip irrigation tubing. The drip irrigation sits on top of the soil but underneath your bark mulch or rock and is serpentined back and forth around your plants. Drip irrigation applies the water directly to the soil so you lose less water to evaporation. Drip irrigation great for areas close to your house, since it eliminates worries about possible overspray onto the building which can lead to mold and mildew damage.

Drip irrigation is also best for the many plant species, such as roses and tomatoes, that don't respond well to artificial overhead watering. Drip irrigation provides better root water uptake and eliminates many of the issues associated with cultivating these particular varieties.
